Holiday Events in Summit
The holiday hype has hit The DeBary Inn and the town of Summit has it already in full swing. Here are a few events and activities you can find to boost your holiday plans when you are in town!
Carriages and Carolers:
From 1-4pm on December 13 and December 20 there are free horse and carriage rides. The boarding location is in Lyric Park, located at the corner of Bank Street and Beechwood Road. Live holiday music will be roaming the streets during the same hours. Depending on when you arrive and where you walk, there are different artists playing holiday tunes all over town.
*The event coordinators ask everyone to make sure they are in line for the carriage rides by 3:30pm. They will be cutting off the line then to ensure the last carriage ride leaves on time and no guests are left behind.*
The HillTop Elf Scavenger Hunt:
In shop windows all over Summit there are over 100 hidden HillTop Elves this holiday season! As you wander and shop, searching for these little guys can get you a chance to win a $500 Summit VISA Gift Card. The five runners-up will also each win a $100 gift card. These cards are accepted at over 150 Summit businesses. All you have to do is get a Scavenger Hunt Form from a participating business or download from HERE.
All forms much be turned in by 5pm on December 20 and the winners will be drawn on December 23; all winners will be notified via email following the drawing.

Celebrate in Summit:
Come and join the free holiday bash on December 20 from 1-4pm! In addition to the horse and carriage rides at Lyric Park there will be live ice carving in the Promenade, a DJ playing music in Lyric Park, visits from some winter princesses, and fun interactive crafts for anyone to enjoy. It is fun for the whole family!
