Summit is set to host its 78th Annual Fourth of July Celebration on Friday, July 4, 2025, at Soldiers Memorial Field (5 Myrtle Avenue, Summit, NJ). The day-long event kicks off at 12:00 PM with a Flag Raising Ceremony, followed by the Children’s Decorated Bicycle Parade at 12:15 PM .

The celebration continues with a variety of entertainment and activities:

• Amusement Rides and Food Truck Festival: Opens at 12:00 PM .

• Live Music Performances:

  • 1:00 PM: Fonk

  • 1:45 PM: Lorraine

  • 2:30 PM: Arena Rock Tribute Band

  • 4:00 PM: American Boogie Woogie Dance Party

  • 5:00 PM: Owls and Lions

  • 6:30 PM: Paris the Hip Hop Juggler

  • 7:30 PM: Daddy Pop .

• Lowering of the Colors: 9:00 PM.

• Grand Fireworks Display: 9:15 PM .
